Bob Jocher joined the Gil-Bar family after co-promoting and collaborating on several NYC projects with GBHLS Vice President Jack Conway. Bob brings over 25 years of healthcare capital equipment sales including the planning and design for both new construction and healthcare renovations. Bob’s extensive clinical experience includes expertise in the operating rooms, offsite surgical sites, clinical labs, and life science spaces.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in Business Mgt and Engineering Science at Rutgers University, Bob used his clinical training as a volunteer first responder coupled with his sales experience while working through college and joined J&J as a NJ based medical sales representative. Bob was quickly recognized for his outstanding sales achievements and was promoted to their leadership program. His expertise created promotional pathways including managing a medical device and then a surgical capital sales team in the Northeast. Additional promotions included both large capital regional sales, national[LA1] sales and international sales with Siemens, Inpeco and Steris Surgical.
Bob has been successful with moving away from the traditional, transactional sales approach. His consultive style focuses on building and earning trust through collaboration, hard work and problem-solving. Bob’s expansive clinical experience creates a unique opportunity with the GBHLS team to develop, support and deliver customer focused solutions. “Many years of standing next to a surgeon in the OR, with complex equipment, makes me truly appreciate and realize all the efforts upfront with the planning, coordination and clinical designs and construction.” Success of a project is all about exceeding the physicians and leaderships goals and ultimately, positively impacting the patients experience and outcome. “The family atmosphere and customer focused approach at Gil-bar is why I joined the GBHLS team!” Our success as a company is measured by the total success of the project, the customers experience and our ability for repeat business.
Bob also continues his passion with volunteering and giving back his time to his community as a 25-year first responder, former NJ elected official and advocate and supporter for cancer awareness and research in our healthcare systems.
